The fight against plastic pollution seems hopeless, but at Project Planet Earth, we’re serious about taking on this fight. There are about 358 trillion microplastic particles drifting on the surface of our oceans — and that’s not even counting the countless more hiding deep down on the seafloor.
Through interactive talks and exhilarating storytelling, we’ve reached over 1,000 children in more than 25 schools, helping students see the problem and become the solution.
Through a mix of solo and group beach cleans with support from our sponsors, we’ve removed and recycled over 1,200 kg of rubbish, stopping it from ever entering the ocean.
Collectively, our team has engaged the public through swim challenges and outreach initiatives, delivering over 60 opportunities to promote plastic-conscious living.
